Today’s Breakfast Ideas

I began the morning with a Hot cup of Water with Lemon Juice, then I had a bowl of
Brown Rice Porridge with Grated Apple

2 cups brown rice soaked over night
sea salt
apples
roasted chopped almonds and hazelnuts
cinnamon
chia seeds
rice or maple syrup
soy milk

-cook the soaked rice in double the amount of water and a pinch of salt
-use a flame deflector and low flame so that it doesn’t stick at the bottom and cover the pan
-cook until the rice is very soft, about 35-40 minutes
-serve a couple of scoops of rice in an individual bowl
-grate about 1/2 to 1 whole apple per bowl on top of the rice
-sprinkle with the chopped nuts
-sprinkle with chia seeds and cinnamon
-drizzle with a bit of rice or maple syrup
-add a bit of soy milk to taste
